PPC Executive (Italian)



Job Description

  • Working within the PPC Team, you will play a key role in managing and developing our Search campaigns across all major search engines for our Italian business;
  • You will be responsible on a daily basis for the management and optimisation of our search accounts to ensure that we PPC are delivering the maximum return against a number of core KPI’s that include New Customer Acquisition and Revenue within an agreed cost-to acquire/cost-of-sale target;
  • You will also be responsible for creating advertising copy and work with our Web Usability team on identifying and developing landing pages;
  • You will inform the wider Trading team of the Search performance and developments in the Trading Meetings;
  • You will produce performance reports, gather insight and make optimisation recommendations;
  • You will keep abreast with latest PPC trends to ensure our PPC operation remains cutting-edge;
  • Work closely with the Web Usability and Category teams to brief in requirements that refine and improve the customer experience in order to allow us to better convert the customer;
  • You will also work with our Affiliate and SEO managers to share learnings across both acquisition channels.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • You will be self-driven and results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit;
  • You are required to speak fluent Italian;
  • You possess very good analytic skills and are very competent using Microsoft Excel;
  • You will have a degree in a highly numerical discipline such as Maths, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering or a related field;
  • Preferably you are Google Adwords Accredited;
  • Knowledge and experience of web analytics applications, keyword research tools and keyword selection would be beneficial but is not necessary.

Your Competencies:

  • You are capable of recognising problems and, with support, demonstrating a hands on approach to problem solving;
  • You are able to cope with conflicting demands, prioritise tasks and to work using own initiative or within the team;
  • You have a positive approach to researching and analysis, with an ability to apply numerical skills to analyse, interpret and make recommendations on data;
  • You are able to effectively communicate daily campaign performance;
  • You are able to analyse results, identify and give reason for variance from goals;
  • Experience of any online marketing such as search, affiliate or banner advertising channels would be advantageous.
