Job Description

Shareholder Services is responsible for operational oversight of European funds complexes. Departmental tasks include: Servicing of the funds investors for EMEA and Latin America; Servicing of Account Managers and Business Development teams; Cash flow reporting to trade floor; New account set up and maintenance in CRM system; Anti-Money Laundering oversight; Suspicious Trading enforcement and Vendor oversight for the Funds transfer agents and other service providers. Key responsibilities: * Provide account servicing support to Institutional Investors and Distributors (account opening; assistance in trading; queries and follow-up), and resolve queries on their behalf (EMEA countries) * Provide shareholder services assistance to internal clients (Account managers; Legal & Compliance; Fund accounting & Custody; Product development) * Coordinate query activities with external vendors * Be the operational point of contact for Italian/Spanish Platforms and Italian/Spanish Distributors * Coordination and dissemination of updated offering documentation to German Clients * Maintain the relationship with the Italian/Spanish market vendors for regulatory/operational updates * Update of regular files containing share class data for Italian/Spanish Distributors/Platforms * Provide operational assistance to clients and Account Managers during the negotiation of Distribution agreements. * Liaise with Legal and Funds Development teams for official communications to Italian/Spanish shareholders * Onboarding of potential new vendors * Participate in project implementation (local and global) * Ongoing review of internal procedures * Assist with ad hoc queries for clients Requirements * Fluency in Italian and/or Spanish is required, other European languages are desirable * Transfer Agency knowledge to include: * Client Servicing * Shareholder account registration (AML, KYC) * Shareholder transactions monitoring * Subscriptions * Redemptions * Transfers * Switches * In-kind transfers * Transactions adjustments / corrections * Operational oversight (cash management, trade correction, shareholder mailing etc.) * Strong client relationship skills * Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills * Attention to detail and constant focus on quality and client service * Adaptable, flexible and enjoy working in a team * Ability to think quickly and resolve problems in a fast-paced & international environment * Ability to multi-task and deliver under tight deadlines * Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, proficiency in designing and executing database queries is a plus * University degree (or equivalent) in business, economics or finance related field * Proven experience in Financial Services; Fund Operations and/or with an Asset Management client service team
