Tri-lingual Customer Service Specialist German AND English + French OR Italian Permanent South West of London Salary circa £19,000 per annum + bonus + excellent benefits + travel allowance This is NOT a Call Centre role Business working hours Permanent role – salary depending on experience The company: Our client is a well-established IT specialist company providing memory & storage products/solutions for consumers, businesses, enterprises and system builders all across the world. Responsibilities: The European Customer Service team is primarily responsible for calls, faxes, and email queries that come from throughout Europe. It is the responsibility of the Specialist to answer queries in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner. Record calls on the system as required to support company strategy. Provide first level technical support. Calls that exceed first level technical support need to be logged as a Service Request and passed to the Technical Support department. Translation help may be required on some calls. Receive incoming calls from all European customers, responding to their requirements in an efficient and timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction. Identify opportunities from inbound calls by questioning the customer. Log all leads as an activity and assign to the appropriate sales representative – Inside or Field. A lead is classified as a call from a strategic account or a business opportunity. Manage the EU database ensuring that a 24-hour response is achieved. Work with the Account Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day running of existing accounts and to minimise the volume of queries in accordance with department procedures. In accordance with company procedures manage logistical issues such as RMA. Share responsibility with Account Manager for disseminating backorder information. To perform other work related duties as assigned. Skills/Experience Fluent in English AND German AND an additional language (Italian OR French) is a MUST (an additional European language would be an advantage) Customer focused Excellent communication and organisational skills Relevant experience in Administration or Customer facing duties Computer literate Ability to co-ordinate and resolve a variety of customer concerns/queries. Ability to prioritise their own workload, Be able to co-operate with others in a close team environment, Be numerate and be able to use independent judgment.
